B25: BriskerGolfScorecard & Positional Points (pp): Wentworth, Card 2 of 4

Wentworth, Card 2 of 4

Above is an example of a second completed BriskerGolf.am scorecard.

On completion of this BriskerGolf round, the coins that competitors have accrued are translated and simplified into positional points (pp), and recorded as follows:

  • 1 pp First Position (Winner, or Joint Winner!)
  • 2 pp Second Position (or Joint Second Position)
  • 3 pp Third Position (or Joint Third Position)
  • 4 pp Fourth Position (or Joint Fourth Position)
  • 5 pp Fifth Position

Again, the pp gained by a BriskerGolfer at the conclusion of round 2 refers to his/her relative position within his/her group, on completion of round 2, on Day 2, and not the actual coins scored in the round.

Combining Day 1 and Day 2 pp scores gives a ‘Cumulative Total pp‘ score, for each BriskerGolfer.

Note that the lowest possible Cumulative Total for a single BriskerGolfer, after two BriskerGolf rounds, is 2 pp, and that the highest possible Cumulative Total for a single BriskerGolfer, after two BriskerGolf rounds, is 10 pp.

In BriskerGolfScorecard 2 of 4 above, there is one winner on Day 2 in the group of five BriskerGolfers. The other four BriskerGolfers tied for second place, each scoring 2 pp.

Note that the seeding for each Day 3 group will be calculated using Countbackto the last person to win a hole outright on Day 2’s competition, and so on to the next to last person to win a Hole outright, etc.

Each player’s pp score is carried through to the next round of the BriskerGolf  competition, in which BriskerGolfers will be re-seeded by virtue of their scores, so that their groups are composed of five competitively unconnected BriskerGolfers, as shown in the next Blog.
